Tuvalu Care Tips

Semi precious stones

Many of our Tuvalu favorites are decorated with sparkling zircons and other semi-precious stones.

You’ll enjoy them more if:

  • Avoid direct contact with water.
  • Do not wear them during sports & domestic activities
  • Protect them from extended exposure to the sun.

Silver 925

We love silver jewellery and in order to keep it in good condition, we must take care of it and protect it from moisture and atmospheric deterioration.

You’ll enjoy them more if:

  • Avoid direct friction.
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, cosmetics or other chemicals.
  • Store each piece of jewellery separately, in its Tuvalu pouch.
  • Avoid direct contact with water.
  • Clean the jewellery carefully using a soft cloth that will remove oils & sweat.

Silver 925 with 14K Gold plating

When a silver jewellery has been plated, a thin layer of 14K gold has been applied to coat the underlying metal.

The plating on jewellery usually fades over time, eventually revealing its natural silver colour.
Because gold-plated jewelry does not have the same quality and longevity as gold jewelry, it requires special care and attention.

You’ll enjoy them more if:

  • Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, cosmetics or other chemicals.
  • Store each piece of jewellery separately, in its Tuvalu pouch.
  • Avoid direct contact with water.

Brass

Brass jewellery is a popular, economical choice.

Because brass is a fairly delicate metal, this jewellery requires special care.
